Instagram Feed

Melody Jaimon • January 25, 2023

Users with a public or private Instagram account (but not business accounts) are able to add an Instagram feed to the photo gallery widget. The widget displays up to one hundred images from your feed and is automatically updated when new posts are added.

It may take up to 2 hours for new image updates to appear.

The Instagram widget only shows photos from public accounts.

To switch accounts, open the linked photo gallery, click Disconnect, and then sign in with the new account.

Each site may only have one Instagram account connected.

Clients are not required to provide you with user and password information. You can grant clients Content editing permissions so that they can log in to Instagram on their own.

To add Instagram content to the Photo Gallery widget, follow these steps:

  1. Insert the Photo Gallery widget into your website. See Add Widgets for more information.
  2. Connect Instagram is selected.
  3. Enter your Instagram login information and click Log In.
  4. Click the Authorize button.

If you are unable to log in, navigate to Instagram.com in your browser. Click the Settings icon on the Profile tab, then Sign-Out, and then reconnect to the widget.

Image Captions

When you hover over an image, image captions appear. To enable image captions, toggle the On or Off toggle on the Photo Gallery widget's Content tab. The default setting is Off.

In the Design tab, you can also change the colour, size, and font of the text, as well as the background colour of the Image Captions.

Because hover functionality is not available on mobile, this functionality is only available on desktop.
