External Collections

Through the API, customers with a custom plan can create a collection from an external database.

The following limitations apply to an external database collections:

Connect to an External Database

To link to an external database, you must:

1. On the left side, select Content followed by Collections.
2. Select External Database by clicking + New Collection.
3. Type the Endpoint URL and tap the Fetch collection button.
4. Click Continue.
5. Enter the collection's name.
6. Select the appropriate data type for each field in the collection.
7. (Optional) Add additional fields.
8. Click Continue.
9. Import the collection.
