Business Hours

Melody Jaimon • January 20, 2023

The business hours widget shows which days and times your company is open. This widget is especially useful for ensuring that your customers can easily find out when to contact or visit your business, preventing you from losing potential customers due to a misunderstanding about your availability.

To include the widget:

  1. Click Widgets in the left panel.
  2. Drag the widget into your site with your mouse.

See Add Widgets for more information on adding widgets to your site.

Content Editor

When you add a business hours widget to your site, it will try to find your business hours and add them to your site automatically. To change the hours, right-click the widget and select Edit Content.

Build Business Hours Online

  1. In the business hours widget, select the Online option.
  2. In the search box, enter the name of your company or its phone number.
  3. Choose your company from the drop-down menu.
  4. If the automatic import tool does not find the correct hours, click Edit Business Hours to make any changes.

Build Your Own Business Hours

  1. In the business hours widget, select the Build Your Own option.
  2. Select the day or days for which you want to set hours from the menu, and then select the appropriate hours from the drop-down.
  3. Click Add Hours to set multiple-hour ranges in a single day.
  4. Set Special Days and Holidays to make exceptions to your business hours or to notify customers of different hours on those days.

Advanced Options

You can choose from the following advanced options:

  • Start Week On. Set the calendar day on which your business week begins.
  • Utilise a 24-hour clock. Switch between a 12-hour AM/PM and a 24-hour clock.
  • Combine days that have the same opening hours. If you have identical business hours on multiple consecutive days in your workweek, this option will combine them so that they appear on the same line.
  • Title. Choose a title to appear above your business hours (or hide it by clicking the eye icon).

Design Editor

Right-click the widget and select Edit Design to open the design editor.

  • Edit the design of the items on the Item tab, such as font, size, and colour.
  • Change the background and border styles on the Frame tab.
  • Customise the inner and outer spacing on the Spacing tab.

See Widget Design for more information about design options that are not specific to this widget (for example, layout, style, or spacing).
