Edit Image Widgets on Mobile

You can customise existing image widgets on your site using the editor's mobile version. You can replace an image, change its alt text, and add, delete, or edit the image's link.

Image Editing Menu

Tap on the image and select Edit to open the image editing menu.

Replace Images

Open the image editing menu and tap the image thumbnail to replace an image in an existing image widget.

Tapping on the thumbnail brings you to the Image Picker, where you can replace the old image. See Select and Add Images on Mobile for more information.

Change Alt Text

Alt text is an important property of your site's images that helps search engines recognise and process them.

To change the image's alt text description, open the image editing menu and type, edit, replace, or remove the alt text.

Customise Image Links

Open the image editing menu and tap on the Link image field to customise the link on the image widget.

The Link picker menu appears, allowing you to add, edit, or delete the link. See Link Picker for more information.
